Merrivale is only 5 minutes walk from the coast via a footpath at the end of the drive and within a mile along the coastal path to the east is the National Trust beach at Wembury.
Merrival is situated on south west corner of the South Hams on the Devon/Cornwall border and enjoys uninterrupted panoramic sea views from its superb cliff top position in the coastal village of Heybrook Bay within the parish of Wembury, an area of outstanding natural beauty.
The location is perfect for couples or family holidays, walking the coastal paths, exploring the nearby beaches or simply relaxing in the garden or on the decking soaking up the sun and watching the many boats and species of birds.
Merrivale is spacious and modern with most rooms having superb sea views including the 3 good sized bedrooms downstairs and master bedroom upstairs with balcony and stunning sea views, each of the bedrooms has a bath/shower room either en-suite or adjacent. There is a large living room with log fire, kitchen and utility, conservatory/dining room, study area and large decking overlooking the sea as well as various seating areas on the terrace or in the garden, which provide a super opportunity to enjoy uninterrupted panoramic sea views spanning the Mewstone to the south east, the Eddystone Lighthouse straight ahead and across Plymouth Sound to Rame Head, Cornwall to the south west.
