Welcome to The Old Farmhouse Mews, set in the Lake District village of Braithwaite near Keswick we offer a stunning selection of family run self catering accommodation.
The Old Farmhouse is a picture perfect Lakeland Farmhouse dating back to 1656, which has recently been renovated to offer the highest standards of accommodation sleeping 6/8 or adjoined with the Annex a maximum of 8/12 guests.
The main lounge/dining room features beamed ceilings, a large Inglenook fireplace and is furnished with a banquet style 8 seater dining table and quality leather seating in the Lounge with TV/DVD, plus an additonal cosy TV/DVD lounge just off the hall.
The large spacious kitchen features an Aga, integral cooker and ceramic hob, integral fridge, freezer, dishwasher, double Belfast sink and a seated dining area;
Upstairs the Old Farmhouse offers 2 king-size double bedrooms (the master also with sofa bed, both ensuite with showers, plus a twin room - all have ample storage space and are furnished to a high standard with flat screen TVs. The separate large bathroom features a traditional claw footed bath complete with free standing double sized shower.
The Old Farmhouse is situated right in the centre of the beautiful village of Braithwaite which has repeatedly won the 'Best Kept Village" award. Close by are two local pubs offering substantial bar meals and a selection of real ales, and Keswick is just 2 miles away.
